Now, we all know that the show garnered numerous accolades for its unique storyline that brought to for the story of people residing in Lapataganj who led a happy life against all odds. Produced by Garima Productions, Lapataganj in its new season promises to bring back the much loved Indumati and Mukundi in a lovable avatar! ‘Je baat’ and ‘Oji’ will yet again become a part of viewer’s daily conversations! Based on requests that we received through multiple platforms like Facebook and fan mails we finally decided to bring back the second season. I am confident that the new season will surpass our expectations and entertain audiences across Hindi speaking markets.” Sucheta Khanna who is known for her impactful roles in Anjana Anjani, Yamla Pagla Deewana will continue to essay the role of the adorable Indumati Lal Gupta in Season 2 as well. Veteran actor Rohitash Goud continues to play the role of the much loved Mukundi Lal Gupta, Indumati’s husband. An elated Sucheta said, “I am very happy to be a part of Lapataganj Season 2.
