MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Imlie makes up a lie as to why Parul was not there. She says that Atharva was there at the right place at the right time so we got here because of him. This makes Cheeni furious. Cheeni and Athrava later meet and Cheeni is afraid that he might oust that Cheeni is responsible for Parul running away. She tricks him and makes him think that he shouldn’t tell anyone about what Cheeni did.
In the upcoming episode, we will see Imlie’s uncle Sundar brings the Bhaskar Times for Imlie and we see that the poetries in the newspaper is written by Imlie and the credit is given to an alias name Shayra so that no one comes to know that it is her. Imlie says that she is trying to keep her parents’ legacy alive with her poetry.
On the other hand, we see Atharva reading and preserving all the poetries written by Imlie unaware of the fact that it is written by her.

On the other hand, we see Atharva trying his best to find out about Cheeni. He doesn’t even know her name yet. He calls people from Parul’s wedding and aks about Cheeni. He then gets Imlie’s number but doesn’t know that it’s her. He calls and asks if she knows who Imlie is. Cheeni snatches away the phone and says that someone is playing a prank on her.
Imlie is asked to go buy a new phone by her aunts and she takes Cheeni along. Cheeni likes the new phone better so Imlie then asks her to keep the new one and she will take Cheeni’s old phone. Rupi comes to know about this and gets furious. Anu overhears this and says that she will keep reminding Cheeni that she will have to snatch her happiness.
Later, we see Atharva’s and Parul’s father go to Rathore house to ask for Imlie’s hand for Atharva.
What will happen next? Will Imlie marry Atharva? Or will Atharva confess about his feelings for Cheeni?
