Atrangi Channel’s hit show Parshuram is going to be back with a completely new season and a whole new cast.
The show is produced by Atulyam Films and Chanda Creations and will star Ankit Raaj in the lead role of Parshuram.
Atulyam Films and Chanda Creations is a new-age production house that is known for its shows like Shyam Tusli and King’s Man.
Tellychakkar got in touch with the show’s producer Vijay Yadav to talk about the new season, casting Ankit, and why they decided to tell the story of Parashurama.
How excited are you for this chapter of the production house and what more can you tell us about future projects?
We are very excited to have gotten this opportunity and for this new season of Parshuram, it’s a big opportunity for us as our company is fairly new. We have done shows like Shyam Tulsi for Zee Ganga and a few episodic shows for Atrangi TV. We do have exciting projects coming up but we can’t reveal the plans just yet.
Talking about Parshuram what can we really expect from the new season of the show?
This season has a completely new look and feel. The cast is absolutely new and there is a huge difference from the first season. We urge everyone to watch the show. The main differences will be noticeable in due time of course.
People know the name of Parshuram but not the story, why did you decide to base the story on this character?
The reason is to showcase his side of the story and explore a character that has a very deep backstory. None of the channels or shows ever went to the depth of this influential avatar of Lord Vishnu. But the deeper questions like why did he kill his mother or where did his anger come from, are things we will be focusing on as the show goes on.
The new season of Parshuram with Ankit Raaj in the lead will air from 31st of October on Atrangi TV. Directed by Kamal Monga, the show is produced by Sanjay Yadav and Viay Yadav.
