MUMBAI: Fans of south superstar Prabhas have been eagerly awaiting his next big project. Adipurush. As we know, the makers have said that the release of the film will be delayed. But in the meantime, we have received an update on another upcoming project of the stars’. Project K which is a futuristic action thriller, will be directed by Nag Ashwin. The cast includes Prabhas, Seepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Amitabh Bachchan. Ever since the film was announced, fans have been very excited to see the film with this all-star cast and thrilling theme. Now, the makers have announced that they anticipate to release the film on a festive weekend in the year 2024.

As per a report by a well-known media portal, the makers of Project K hope to release the film close to Eid in 2024. It has a week full of holidays and could prove to be a great festive weekend boost in the box office for the Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer. Other than Eid, that week also has holidays like Ambedkar Jayanti, Tamil New Year, and Ram Navami in the span of 7 days. If the reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to release the film around 10th April. They are also entertaining the idea of releasing it by the month-end. Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas dropped on 28th April.
Fans might be wondering as to why there is so much delay in the release of Project K. There are many reasons for the same. One thing is that these stars have some more upcoming projects in their pocket. Another important fact is that the film is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, which is a huge name in the Telugu industry. They will be completing 50 years in 2024, which makes it a landmark time for their film’s release. No doubt, Prabhas' fans are eagerly waiting for Project K as well.
Project K will be Deepika Padukone’s Telugu film debut. It was earlier reported that the film was eyeing a January 2024 release earlier. The shooting of the film began in 2021 at Ramoji Film City, where they had built up a futuristic set.
