Ashlesha Sawant plays the role of Barkha on the show, Anuj’s elder brother’s wife. She plays a grey-shade character and people love her performance.
She has been part of popular shows like Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Pavitra Rishta, and Kumkum Bhagya.
She recently went live on her social media and talked about Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi when asked if she misses those days.

She said, “I don’t miss Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. It was a time when I was born as an actor. I don’t miss it; I have learned from it and moved on” Her Anupamaa co-star Rohit Bakshi aka Ankush, who plays her on-screen husband then comes in. He shys away from joining the live session and Ashlesha keeps asking him to join her. Ashlesha’s sister is also watching the live session and asks Rohit to come and say hello but he still refuses. Ashlesha even mentions that Rohit refuses to talk to her while she is live on social media. It seems ironic because they are on camera most of the time and he is shying away from being on camera. She even calls him mean jokingly.
