MUMBAI: Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan is all set to make his acting debut with the film Qala which is slated to premerie on Netflix on 1st December 2022. The trailer of the movie was released today at an event in Mumbai. Babil along with the other cast and crew attended the event and spoke about the pressure of taking his father's legacy forward.
He said, "Yes, there is a lot of pressure. When we were shooting for the film two years ago the pressure would scare me. Now, the pressure doesn't scare me, but motivates me to go out there and work. The definition of pressure has changed."
When asked what qualities of his father he would like to take forward in his career, the actor said, "Whatever qualities my father had he took it with him. Now, I will explore my qualities."

Qala is directed Anvitaa Dutt and also stars Triptii Dimri, Amit Sial, and Swastika Mukherjee. It is Dutt's second directorial after Bulbul which was also released on Netflix and starred Triptii in the lead role.
While Bulbul had received a good response, it will be interesting to see what response Qala will get.
