The actor started his showbiz journey as a video jockey and made his acting debut with the 2009 release London Dreams. He played supporting roles in movies like Action Replayy and Guzaarish, and made a spectacular debut as a lead hero with the romantic drama Aashiqui 2.
Aditya has seen many ups and downs in his career. While Aashiqui 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani did very well at the box office, his next few releases failed to make a mark. However, he bounced back with Malang which did decent business at the box office. In 2020, he got praised for his performance in the OTT film Ludo, but this year, he once again got a flop like Rashtra Kavach Om.

Talking about Aditya’s upcoming movies, the actor currently has a film titled Gumraah lined up which also stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead role. It is a remake of the Tamil film Thadam which starred Arun Vijay and Tanya Hope as leads. Gumraah was supposed to release this year, but it looks like the film has been postponed as there’s no update about it.

Apart from Gumraah, Aditya will also be seen in a web series which is the Indian adaptation of the British series The Night Manager, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala in pivotal roles.
