MUMBAI :Celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most loved couples in the entertainment industry. Recently, the couple purchased a luxurious house in Zirad village in Alibaug. It is a 4 BHK home that reportedly costs around Rs. 10.5-13 crores and is a blend of modern and classic décor with a lot of greenery and white furniture. The designer who undertook the mantle of Creative Director for this project is none other than Sussanne Khan. Ever since this came out on the news, fans have been excitedly waiting to see photos of the house. Finally, we have got to see glimpses of their new abode and it is truly magnificent.
The famous architecture magazine, Architectural Digest shared several photos of Anushka and Virat's home on Instagram and captioned it saying that the house has a ‘sublime calmness’ with a ‘monochromatic scheme taking centre stage’. The caption further says, “The home features rustic wood elements, and sharp finishes, interspersed with textures and prints that add an element of chic playfulness.” It continued, “The villa follows the Avas style – i.e soothing colour palettes of neutrals that are enhanced with features unique to their home reflecting their aesthetics, like a flow of greenery inside and outside the house.”

Located in the Awas village, the house has four bedrooms, two covered car garages, four bathrooms with powder rooms, a terrace, a lush green garden, outdoor dining, a private pool, outdoor open space, and staff quarters. The pictures reveal a beautiful outdoor pool with a wooden deck and a lush green garden outside the house. It also shows a big living room washed in white with tasteful couches and white contemporary chandeliers.
In a chat with a media portal, CEO and founder of Avas Wellness Aditya Kilachand spoke about the house décor and said that Virat did not want flashy and over the top décor. He wanted to give his villa a modern and classic decor with greenery around to induce a feeling of calmness. Before the house was built, we had got news that Virat and Anushka had purchased an eight-acre land parcel at Alibaug.
