MUMBAI: Nishi Saxena is an actress known for Colors TV’s Nima Denzongpa. It starred Surabhi Das, Mohammed Iqbal Khan, Manish Raisinghan, and Akshay Kelkar.
She recently entered Star plus’s Anupamaa playing the role of Dimple, who is misbehaved with and gets harassed by some goons. It is quite a sensitive character and the plot is delicate currently.
Tellychakkar recently got in touch with Nishi and got to know a lot about her character and the plot.
What is more to come for your character Dimple? Will there be a track with your and Samar’s romantic angle?
“For now, we don’t know much about that. We shoot and the episode airs in a couple of days. So we don’t know in which direction the track is going. The audience will eventually find out and we are excited for what unfolds.”

You played such a sensitive character and the events that took place were quite intense. Did it take a toll on you?
“No, I don’t think so, I am enjoying playing this character. The way this character is, she is not somebody who is scared or has stopped living after what happened to her. She still wants to get up, live her life and be the same old Dimple again. She wishes to fight through her fears. She is such a strong character that I am enjoying playing the character.”
How do you feel about working with Rupali Ganguly and the rest of the cast?
“Rupali ma’am is a gem. She is so nice with everybody on set. You will not feel that she is such a star. She teaches, and she makes you understand, it is not even her job to do that but she still does it. She works so hard for the show. I am so blessed to work with her. The directors and the whole team are amazing. Gaurav sir is so fun on set. Whenever he is not on set, I miss him. He is always so full of energy. The Shah family and the Kapadias, the whole cast is amazing.”
