MUMBAI : Pishachini is a drama series that premiered in August 2022 on Colors TV. It is produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms and MAJ Productions and stars Nyra Banerjee, Jiya Shankar, and Harsh Rajput.
The show is set against the backdrop of Bareilly where a beautiful girl (actually a Pishachini) named Rani seeks revenge from the Rajput family for settling on her land.
While Jiya plays the protagonist Pavitra, Harsh is seen as Rocky, and Nyrra is seen as Rani/Pishachini, who is the main antagonist of the show. The viewers are seeing how Pavitra is trying to save Rocky from Rani while she tries to create more chaos for Pavitra.
The show is doing well and the plot has kept the audience hooked. But there were rumors recently that the show might go off-air soon.

As per sources, the show is not going off-air but instead has gotten an extension. The show will wrap up its shoot on 20th December but will remain on AIR till February 2023. The extension has been given until then.
According to the latest plot, Vetaal Rocky is connected to Pavitra through the means of the ring he presented her with and now Pavitra is seeing visions from the past. These are disturbing visuals and she finds herself questioning the happenings. Rocky however is pleased that he holds the key to all her weaknesses.
Pavitra learns about where the family is hidden by Rani. On the other hand, Rocky and Rani are stopped by Kanika with a crossbow. Rocky understands that Kanika was the impersonator.
