As we head towards the 61st anniversary of our Independence, Voice of India dedicates this Friday episode to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and freedom. Yes, the journey to stardom begins for the Bemisaal Barah this Independence Day as the Indian junta exercise their right to vote and propel their favourite voice to top 11 on Voice of India.
All the judges, host Shaan and the kids looked worth million-dollar in their white costumes specially designed for the Independence Day. Sukhwinder Singh and the Bemisaal Barah set the mood for the evening with Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon, Chak De India and Jana Gana Mana medley. This strong and powerful performance aroused emotions, passion and the feeling of patriotism in all the contestants which was apparent in the performance that took place thereafter.
Rohit Sonar from seven sister states forced everybody to think of how much do we thank this motherland with his song Vande Mataram. Sayantani from Orissa sang O Palanhare praying for peace and harmony of this nation. Ryan from Andhra Pradesh poured out his heart with Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera. Vinti from Uttar Pradesh dedicated her performance to kids, the strength & hope of this country with Taare Zameen Par. Mallar from Kolkata impressed everybody with his zealous Zindagi Maut Na Ban Jaye while Zakir from Chhattisgarh made the crowd dance with Watan Pe Jo Fida Hoga. This battery of Patriotic songs continued with Rahul chanting Mera Rang De Basanti chola, Ravi singing Roobaroo. Saptaparna (seven sister state) and Punjab da puttar- Vipul’s Lukka Chuppi gave goose bums to everybody witness to their soulful rendition. Also Ritisha from Bangalore and Shraddha from Jharkhand gave a rocking performance with Badal Pe Pao Hai.
This patriotism that filled the air of the sets rubbed on an otherwise shy Shaan who performed on Yeh Des Hai Veer Jawano Ka, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and really made everybody forget about the sour part of the episode. This Friday one state will bid a final adieu to the Voice of India stage; the first elimination for the Bemisaal Barah. Which state will disqualify to become the Voice of the nation?
