MUMBAI: Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl.
In the previous episode, a furious Madhumalti storms into the palace to confront Damayanti about her broken promise to marry her daughter Swatilekha to her eldest son, Shivendra.
With anger in her eyes, Madhumalti challenges Damayanti, questioning her ability to uphold her own words as a queen.
Damayanti calmly explains to her that the fulfilment of a prince's desires cannot be equated to marriage, emphasising that no union is accepted within the palace without her approval.
Meanwhile, Surilli mistakenly believes that Shivendra has lied to her once again. However, Shivendra will attempt to reassure Surilli, but his efforts will prove fruitless, leaving him disappointed and leaving from there.
In the upcoming episode, Shivendra takes Surilii to his favourite spot in the mansion, where they spend their first night together.
Shivendra promises to Surilii that it will be a night full of surprises for her, and later that night, he falls asleep on her lap.
Meanwhile, Damayanti gets to know that Shivendra and Surilii haven't returned to their rooms the whole night.
Maanvendra, Raghavendra and some staff members witness Shivendra and Surili together and praise how beautiful they look as a couple.
