MUMBAI: Loveyapa was trending from the moment its title track was released. The movie marked the big screen debut of both Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan. Before this, the starkids were seen making their debut on OTT platform.
Junaid Khan was first seen in the Netflix movie Maharaj while Khushi Kapoor was first seen in the Netflix movie The Archies. Finally, Junaid and Khushi came together for Loveyapa and with them, we also got to witness a promising debut of Yuktam Khosla. The actor was very much appreciated for his stint in the movie.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Yuktam Khosla opened up his experience with Junain Khan and it is a must-read experience.
Yuktam Khosla said, ‘I was honestly very curious about how he must be because I had watched Maharaj while we were shooting the film. So of course I knew Junaid...but before meeting him I was very curious because I knew ke he is Aamir sir’s son. Honestly, my expectations were already very high because I knew Junaid’s background and that he is coming from Theaters. Toh I knew that I’m performing with an actor. Dimag mein woh starkid bilkul nahi tha. Agar mujhe ek actor ke saath kaam karne ka mauka milega toh probably I’d get to learn a lot. So of course expectations were high but when I met him I realized he is so focused on the craft, so focused on his character and once midway through shooting in fact jab main pit raha tha Junaid ke character se uske ek din pehle maine Maharaj dekhi thi. I was like if this guy can do Maharaj so convincingly, even that character mein itna thairaav hai, itna sincere character hai woh and here we’re trying out for chhichhora in this film. To watch him do that, i was like man, this guy has genuinely long way to go.’
