MUMBAI :Suhail Nayyar started his acting career with a supporting role in Udta Punjab and impressed one and all with his performance in it. Later, he starred in movies like Ginny Weds Sunny and Sharmaji Namkeen which were released on OTT.
When it comes to OTT series, the actor was seen in shows like Life Sahi Hai, The Test Case, Hasmukh, and Jee Karda. Recently, TellyChakkar interacted with Suhail and when asked if he thinks that OTT has given him a chance to showcase his talent, the actor said, “I think OTT is an extension to the film industry. I did Sharmaji Namkeen and Ginny Weds Sunny, they were films and I think they gave me enough opportunity to showcase my talent. But, in longer formats, you have longer time on screen and you showcase more layers.”
“For me, it’s just an extension to the film industry. At the end, work is work; acting is the same that’s happening everywhere. I am really open to all the platforms. I tell people that OTT is the IPL of the film industry. It has given so many opportunities to actors, directors, and to everyone,” he added.
