Rajnikanth who is 72 years old will soon be seen in the upcoming film Jailer which is all set to release on August 10th. On this special occasion, several offices in Bengaluru and Chennai have declared a holiday for their staff especially for the premier of the film.
The film will mark Rajnikanth’s comeback on the silver screens after a gap of nearly 2 years.

The upcoming Tamil film marks the actor's maiden collaboration with director Nelson Dilip Kumar. The project, which will also star Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles.
Rajinikanth's character 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian was introduced in an earlier teaser. Jackie Shroff who will be seen in a unique avatar said, “You have only seen him as a father of a Policeman but I’m familiar with his other face that you are not aware of.”
