There has been a buzz that superstar Rajinikant and director Nelson Dilipkumar are coming back with its sequel; Jailer 2. The latter has now broken his silence amidst the buzz.

When word leaked out earlier this week that the actor had been brought to the hospital, his fans became worried. He supposedly had surgery to treat a bulging nerve, and he is now free to go. The health report on X was delivered by trade expert Ramesh Bala, “Actor #Ajithkumar has returned home from his recent hospital visit. All is well! (sic)”

As per reports, the 52 year old actor has been undergoing treatment for nerve swelling. Earlier there was news of him having a brain cyst but his spokesperson Suresh Chandra rubbished those rumours.

Thalaivar Rajinikant had a series of unsuccessful films before Jailer but the latter brought him back on track. Thus this news of a sequel will be music to the fans of the actor.

One day following the horrific death of Vijaykanth, his funeral was held in Chennai. On December 28, a Thursday, Vijaykanth passed away. Following a positive COVID-19 test, the 71-year-old leader of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) was put on ventilatory support.

Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan paid tribute to DMDK founder Vijayakanth on X with a moving statement. “The news of the death of my beloved brother Vijayakanth, the founder of the National Progressive Dravida Association, a unique actor and captain of Tamil cinema, who was loved by all, is deeply saddened.”

Vijayakanth’s health had previously been a concern, as reports indicated that he may have a severe illness. On December 11, 2023, the 71-year-old actor went back home after fully recovering. Many of his fans and friends were much relieved when his party, the DMDK (Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam), formally confirmed his discharge in a statement.

He had acted in over 100 films, some of them included Karakatakkaran, Gopura Vasalile and Sundarakandam. His performance in 2012 from Saattai was widely acclaimed.

However today we will speak about a director whose last blockbuster film earned him an advance of Rs 55 crores without even the script being ready.

As per reports, Meera was a class 12th student and was found dead at her Chennai home at 3 am on Tuesday morning. She was rushed to a private hospital where she was declared dead.
