Whoa! This actor played a whopping 45 roles in just one film making a world record and its not Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda or Sanjeev Kumar

MUMBAI: Playing a double role and now even a triple has become somewhat common in Indian cinema. There are few who went beyond 3. Actor Sanjeev Kumar surprised everyone when he played 9 roles in a film Naya Din Nayi Raat. He depicted the Navarasa and people were left spellbound.

Now, there is one actor who played not 2, 3 or 4 but an unbelievable 45 different roles in just one film. Can you guess who it is and for which film? Well, we are talking about actor Johnson George who played 45 different characters in the Malayalam film Aaranu Njan. He was added into the Guinness Book of World Records for this feat, which reads, “The most characters played by one actor in a single film is 45, achieved by Johnson George (India) in the film Aaranu Njan, in Kerala, India, verified on 12 September 2018. Johnson George played such roles as Gandhi, Jesus and Leonardo Da Vinci.”

Directed by PR Unnikrishnan, Aaranu Njan released in March 2018 and stars Jayachandran Thagazhikaran and Muhammed Nilamboor in the lead roles. Johnson appeared at various scenes in the film where he played important figues in history like Mahatma Gandhi, APJ Abdul Kala, Jesus Christ, etc.
