Tellychakkar got in touch with the cast of the series where they talked about the audience response, the reaction to their roles, how they got the part and much more.
Naveen talked about a scene, jokingly calling it an action scene where Shivankit had to slap him. Naveen expressed that he really enjoyed the moment which was created that day where he was about to get hit. While Namita added that she loved that scene, Naveen exclaimed that it was improvised.
When we asked if it was a one-shot scene or a re-take, Shivankit said that it wasn’t for real. However, Naveen intervened and said that he did slap him and Shivankit added that it was really slow.
When Sunny was asked about what made him say ‘Yes’ for the role, Sunny said, “I was not getting a lot of work when I was offered this show so I thought that this looks good and I should do it. Jokes apart, I love TVF too, I’ve known Anurabh (founder of TVF) for 10 years when some of their sketches were not even out and were just in process. I didn’t know at that time but we used to make different videos. I later started to watch all the sketches and it felt very relatable. We were from FTII and used to watch it all together so I thought that if we do this, it would be fun. Gradually, TVF started coming up with shows and I always wanted to work with them. When I got the call I was more than happy and I gave my best.”
Naveen added to this and said that no one here had an option and had to give auditions. Abhilash also added, pointing to Naveen, Sunny and Shivankit that they had previously worked in OTT series but it was the first time for him and Namita.
When Namita was asked about the parameters before accepting a project, Namita said, “I wish I had the luxury of having four projects in my hand so I could choose.”
We even asked her if there is a role she desires to play, to this, Namita added, “Some gritty investigator type, like the leads, protagonists in Mindhunter.”
