MUMBAI: Humorously Yours Season 3, a slice-of-life comedy-drama, draws inspiration from the real-life experiences of stand-up comedian Vipul Goyal. The series revolves around Vipul's character, equipped with a supportive spouse, an eccentric yet fiercely loyal friend, and a former college student turned manager. It explores the drama that underlies the humour in Vipul's life.
The show stars Vipul Goyal, Rasika Duggal, Abhishek Banerjee and has been available to stream on ZEE5 from December 22nd.
The earlier seasons were loved by the audience and even this season is admired by the audience. We got in touch with Rasika Duggal and she revealed some very interesting details when asked about her character, what made her say ‘Yes’ for the role and much more.
How will you define your character?
To this, Rasika Duggal replied by saying that Kavya is a no-nonsense person making Kavya and Vipul two very different people in a marriage but one that’s filled with a lot of fun banter and nok jhok.
What made you say ‘Yes’ for the show?
To this, Rasika Duggal replied by saying that she has experimented with a lot of genres, but comedy was not something she was a part of and so she was waiting for an opportunity to be a part of a show like Humorously Yours.
How important are such shows in today’s time?
To this, Rasika Duggal replied by saying that it is very important for all of us to have a fair share of humor in our life. She added that as an audience she loves watching comedy and a comedy with a woman in the centre is something that she enjoys. She also added that she loved watching Mrs. Marvellous, Fleabag, and have been a fan of Seinfield for a while as it never looks dated. It’s a genre she likes and comedy is always required.
