MUMBAI : After the stupendous success of Jailer, lead actor and superstar Rajinikant and director Nelson Dilipkumar are coming back with its sequel; Jailer 2. Thalaivar Rajinikanth had a series of unsuccessful films before Jailer but the latter brought him back on track. Thus this news of a sequel will be music to the fans of the actor.

Without much contribution in the Hindi market, Jailer manages to collect a whopping Rs 600 cr gross worldwide. Nelson has reportedly already begun work on the script of Jailer 2. Currently, Rajinikanth is occupied with the shoot of T Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan. Post that he will begin shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next.

Fans of Rajnikant will be excited to hear this news, and with the reception of Jailer, Jailer 2 will surely have a massive opening.
