MUMBAI: Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar has a massive fan following and never fails to impress his fans with every film he does. His screen-presence, his acting and star power are all undeniable. However, recent reports of him being hospitalised have left his fans worried.

As per reports, the 52 year old actor has been undergoing treatment for nerve swelling. Earlier there was news of him having a brain cyst but his spokesperson Suresh Chandra rubbished those rumours.

Ajith’s spokesperson informed a news portal saying, “Ajith sir got admitted to the hospital for a general examination. There was undue swelling in the nerve connecting his ear to the brain. Doctors got rid of it now with a simple medical procedure. Ajith is fine, he walked from the ward to the ICU.”

On the work front, Ajith was last in H Vinoth’s Thunivu which was one of the highest grossing films of 2023. He will next be seen in the Magizh Thirumeni directorial Vidaa Muyarchi.
