TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what is her opinion on the clause of TV shows of not having an affair on sets of the show and she revealed which character is her favourite.
What do you have to say about the new clauses of actors signing contracts of not having an affair on the sets of the show and much more?
Affair is too big a word but I feel Korean policies have been introduced these days. So when someone has Korean shows or idols they sign the contract of not having an affair on the sets of the show, because you spend so much time with each other you tend to have an attraction or fall in love with your colleagues. I am no one to comment on it.
How do you choose your roles? What are the main criterias that need to be ticked?
I am grateful for the work I have done. I have worked for so many years, so the one thing that I see before I do a role is as an actor how challenging the role is. Since we are working for so many hours there should be a pushing point to go for work so I think the challenge is the one thing that helps me to sign a character for a show.
The feeling of what am I doing after putting so much of hard work for 12 - 13 hours shouldn't never come, because as an actor and as a creative person my mind should be in constant use and these are the few things I see for I lock in for a role and I am blessed to do different type of roles.
Which character is your favourite that you have played on screen?
All my characters are my favourite. But my all time favourite character will be from my debut show Jyoti, then Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera even that role was very challenging as I was young and to play a mother and understand various emotions and it was a very pushing character since every day I had to emote different emotions. Recently I did a beautiful show called Neerja and that is also close to me.
Well, there is no doubt that Sneha is one of the most loved actresses of television and the fans miss watching her on screen.
