MUMBAI : Sonakshi Sinha will take your breath away with her role as Fareedan, a sultry seductress in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. She captivates minds with her gaze in the song 'Tilasmi Bahein' from the upcoming Netflix series. Fans feel that her role is powerful as a tawaif and her piercing eyes have a hidden past. It feels as if she has had a bad heartbreak.

The trailer of 'Heermandi' shows Sonkashi stepping into the role of a powerful tawaif in the magnum opus, revealing her dark side as her eyes pierce through huge eyepieces right through the screen. Sonakshi's Fareedan should not give her heart but accept modern-age solitude. Her life would have been peaceful knowing the fact that the series is based on the courtesans of Lahore, set in the pre-Independence era of India. The stellar cast in 'Heeramandi' also includes Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and will debut on May 1, only on Netflix.
Rekha in ‘Dil Cheez Kya Hai’
