MUMBAI : The Deol family has been one of the most close knit ones. Especially siblings Sunny and Bobby have been one of the most talked about and popular siblings in the Hindi film industry. They have been part of several films like Dillagi, Yamla Pagla Deewana and many more. The duo have a great bond.
Netflix recently released a promo of the upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show where brother Sunny and Bobby Deol will be seen as guests. We see a glimpse of the emotional as well as funny side of the brothers. In one instance Sunny talks about tough times and how things were not going right, which makes brother Bobby quite emotional and he breaks down in tears. He says, “1960s se hum log limelight me hain, lekin kai sal hogaye, aise hi koshish kar rahe the, things were not working out." Sunny further said, "My son got married, then Gadar (2) was released, before that even dad's film got released (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani) and we couldn't believe how we got so blessed.”
Speaking of his sabbatical, Bobby revealed, “I gave up. I started pitying myself and just took up drinking a lot. I was just sitting at home and I used to keep cursing and saying 'Why don't people take me? I am good.' I think I became so negative about everything. I used to sit at home, my wife works. And suddenly I heard my son speaking 'Mom, papa sits at home and you go to work everyday.' And then something snapped in me and I said 'No, I can't.”
