MUMBAI: Popular South Korean actress Lee Chungh Ah is a hard core Bollywood fan. If she had the opportunity to work on stories like The Lunchbox, romantic or melodramatic films in Hindi cinema. The actress, during an interview with Hindustan Times, revealed about Hindi films that she loved the most. "There is something so characteristically beautiful about Indians, which comes out evocatively in their cinema regardless of genre. Black, The Lunchbox, Life of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, and Jawan which I have yet to finish, are films I have thoroughly enjoyed".
Lee Chung Ah's crime thriller Hide garnered her a lot of fame. The taut drama series is around Na Mun Yeong (Lee Bo young) who is doing a hardcore investigation about her missing husband. ee Chung Ah plays the role of a friendly neighbour who is keeping a well hidden secret and you need to watch the series further to know details about the same.

She did not want to do Hide first and said, "It is a character with such a big narrative, and even though she might be seen as evil in the series, she has to believe that what she's doing is right and good. I was so worried about how this would be portrayed in the drama, that I tried to run away from it. But, it was director Kim Dong Hwi who convinced me that I had it in me to play Yeon Ju, a woman whose good-natured face made people trust her, unbeknownst of what she was capable of. So, I took it upon me as a challenge".
