Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan cast reunites to celebrate co-actor Smita Malhotra's birthday; See pics!

The lead character of 'Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan' is Kumkum, a devoted daughter-in-law whose life completely collapses when her husband Jatin (Anuj Saxena) passes away from a brain tumor. Her brother-in-law Sumit (Hussain) marries Kumkum to protect her from societal disgrace, and the two later fall in love.

MUMBAI : The cast of 'Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan,' which includes actors Juhi Parmar, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Gaurav Gera, director Sudhir Sharma, Tuhinaa Vohra, and Malini Kapoor, among others reunited for their co-actor Smita Malhotra's birthday. Parmar posted photos from their happy reunion to her social media accounts.

Juhi Parmar uploaded the images on Monday, May 6, along with a lengthy caption. She wrote to Smita to wish her a happy birthday, "They say some things never change, and it holds true for our love and camaraderie. It was so wonderful celebrating your birthday together. My stomach still hurts from all the laughter. We were a house on fire. One crazy night to remember. Kumkum gang rocks. Let’s do this again soon (sic)."

'Kumkum' debuted on Star Plus on July 15, 2002, and had a seven-year successful run. In addition to Juhi, Hussain Kuwajerwala, and Anuj Saxena, the show also starred Alka Kaushal, Arun Bali, Malini Kapoor, and Shishir Sharma.

Juhi Parmar recently appeared in Yeh Meri Family on Amazon Mini TV captivating everyone. She is portrayed as an uncomplicated mother. This series' flavor is nostalgia. It is a lovely tale and is set in the 1990s.
