MUMBAI: Music is a means to feel spiritual and at solace, and comedian Kapil Sharma and singer Sagar Bhatia got a special opportunity to do that at one of the most divine places in the country, at Vaishnodevi Temple. The two artists visited the holy place during Navratri last month and gave special performances there. It was truly a divine experience for both of them and the worshippers there.
Kapil and Sagar were specially invited by the administration at the Vaishnodevi temple to give a special performance at the holy place and pay their respect to the almighty. The duo sang devotional bhajans, including Tune Mujhe Bulaya, for the attendees at the temple and had quite a spiritual experience while there. Sagar also sang qawwalis for the devotees making the environment heavenly and spiritual.
On the work front, Kapil is currently busy with his ongoing show The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. The shoot of the first season of the show has just wrapped up recently. Whereas Sagar has been redefining the Qawwali genre for the younger generation with his music. He has released many covers and new singles, including his latest song Royi Hovegi, as well. He is also rumoured to be collaborating for filmmaker Karan Johar and sing for his films.
