MUMBAI: There are a plethora of new shows in the making. While there are many which are scheduled to release post the IPL mania, there are quite a lot which are scheduled to release on the OTT platforms. There are also quite a few films in the making.

Credible sources inform us that Story Square Productions (Shoonya Square Productions) will be churning out a new show, Bitiya Chhathi Mayia Ki.
TellyChakkar was the first one to report that the show will be aired on Sun Network, a new channel which will be launched and will feature Ashish Dixit, Bindra Dahal and Ssara Khan in titular roles.
In the past, Ashish has been seen in Dil Dhoondta Hai, Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2, Laal Ishq, Aapke Aa Jaane Se among a host of other shows. Brinda, on the other hand, has been a contestant of Dance India Dance Li’l Masters season 4.
Ashish and Brinda will be seen as the main leads in the show.
As for Ssara, she will be seen in the role of Chhathi Maiya. She will be seen in a cameo role who will keep making appearances as Chhathi Maiya.
Well, now we have another member joining the cast of the show.
Veteran actress Jaya Battacharya has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the serial. She will apparently play a mother’s role.
More details about the show are yet awaited.
The show will be a daily soap and will revolve around how Chhathi
Maiya keeps appearing in the female character’s life and helps her sail through all the troubles she faces.
