MUMBAI: Hindi film star Avinash Tiwary has been getting a lot of love for his role in Madgaon Express. The character of the actor is being compared to Hrithik Roshan's role in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Avinash also rose to shine with Imtiaz Ali's Laila Majnu, where he was seen opposite Animal actress Tripti Dimri.
During an exclusive interview with Telly Chakkar, the actor was asked about him not doing heroic roles post Laila Majnu, just like Tripti Dimri who skyrocketed with a leading role in Animal. She had also not done leading roles after Laila Majnu. The actor was also asked if Madgaon Express success made him feel like the success of the film Animal.
Avinash said, "Yes I would want to do films like Madgaon Express which kind of reaches out to people, and creates joy for them. That is the final experience that the audience has. I have done films and have been the leading actor in almost all the films I have done and they all have created different experiences for the audience. Having seen joy being created for the audience, I would definitely want to do films that would create joy for the audience".
He further said, "I have always seen myself as a heroic guy in all the parts I have played. They have been heroic in their own ways. The love and abandonment that Majnu had for Laila is heroic in itself. The way Chandan Mahto takes on his exploitation and fights is heroic in itself. I played Dara Kadri who fights in a good or bad way and leads a heroic life. I am slightly an egoistic man. It translates like that".
