MUMBAI: Times have changed and the audience have a much wider range of choice when it comes to watching movies. The audience is getting much more conscious about characters, storylines, responsibility of representation and many other factors which were overlooked in the past.
A while ago, we got to watch Poacher, a docu-series produced by Alia Bhatt. Fans pointed out that earlier, there was a movie named Kaal wherein we saw Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Esha Deol and Lara Dutta as lead roles.
The movie was about Krish, a wildlife expert and few more tourist teaming up with Kaali, a forest dweller, investigating a case of man-eating tiger but discovering that it is someone or something else that’s being the danger.
The movie was loved at the time of release but this times, things have become much more interesting. We can see how there have been so many second installments of movies and looking at that, there are fans of ‘Kaal’ who think that this is the right time for Kaal 2 to be released.
Looking at the climate issues, hunting and poaching issues and many such problems, fans are now demanding for Kaal 2 to be made wherein the storyline will feature topics of poaching and climate change.
Kaal was produced by Shah Rukh Khan and was loved by fans. Now that the fans are asking for a part 2, it’ll be interesting to see if that really happens.
