Why Nawazuddin Siddiqui asked his co-star Actress Anjali Sharma to change her name to Yahhve Sharma.

MUMBAI: Actress Anjali Sharma says superstar Nawazuddin Siddiqui asked her to change her first name because Anjali was a very common name and it's difficult to gain visibility with such a common name.
Anjali revealed that while shooting on the sets of a film Section 108, Nawaz Sir had been my biggest guide and support. In a candid conversation with Nawaz during lunch hours, he said, “Anjali is your first name and it's too common a name and therefore by changing it I can gain visibility easily.”

Anjali adds, “He suggested the name change, and it immediately clicked my mind” 
Recalling her experience, Anjali said: "Nawaz Sir has an eye for an artist. He spots a performer and he knows how to get it done. It has been a true working experience alongside Nawaz Sir.” She also said, “Name change had been in my mind for a long time but there was no force to convert it into action.” 

The actress also spoke about how she bagged the film Section 108 alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui without much difficulty. She is expecting a few more projects in the year 2024. She is predominantly known for her performance in a Netflix film - Operations Mayfair and many beautiful music videos.
