MUMBAI: In the realm of fantasy, one enchantress is reigning supreme, casting an irresistible spell over audiences with her mystique and mesmerizing portrayal of a chudail. We're talking about none other than the stunning Nia Sharma, whose arrival as malevolent Nishigandha in COLORS’ ‘Suhagan Chudail’ has brought viewers addictive entertainment. From the moment she appeared on screen, donning the chudail’s hat, viewers were drawn to her character's desire to live forever and stay young. As the supernatural siren hell-bent on staying youthful, Nia has embraced the physical challenges of her role - doing stunts while hanging from harnesses. While normal people might be scared to jump from trees or float in the air, Nia enjoys the excitement that comes with playing the enigmatic chudail character.
Playing the chudail role allows me to push myself in really exciting ways," Nia Sharma says. "One of the best parts is getting to do all the harness stunt scenes. You'll see me sitting up in trees, flying through the air, and even attacking my victims - all while suspended on the harness equipment. At first, I was a little nervous about the physicality required, like the complex harness stunts. But now I absolutely love it! Getting to step out of my comfort zone and do things I've never done before is what really fuels my passion as an actress.” She further added, “It was definitely an interesting journey learning and shooting all those ambitious stunts and VFX scenes. But the hard work paid off because viewers are appreciating the Suhagan Chudail character and the supernatural thrills of the show.”
The newly launched fantasy-thriller-romance warns everyone to protect their loved ones from a dangerous enchantress. In this supernatural saga, Nishigandha, a chudail (played by Nia Sharma) uses the power of Solah Shringaar to lure men into marriage and sacrifice them for immortality until she is challenged by Deeya (Debchandrima Singha Roy), who shields the chudail’s final target Moksh (Zayn Ibad Khan) with her love.
Keep watching ‘Suhagan Chudail’ from Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM, only on COLORS.
