MUMBAI: The dismissal of Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been a topic of much discussion. Allegations have been made, and cryptic posts have been made amid the mudslinging around the two celebrities' ouster from the popular show.

The announcement by Rajan Shahi that Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Dhami were leaving YRKKH shocked the Indian television industry. He said that Shehzada threw tantrums at the statement and even misbehaved with the crew, accusing them of being unprofessional.
Recently, Shehzada Dhami in an interview said that he was called backstage by the organisers when he was sitting in the front row with the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in an event.
TellyChakkar had an exclusive conversation with the organiser of the event, Mohammed Lateef and he shared his side of the story.
Has Shehzada Dhami ever attended any of the events organised by you before?
I have been organising events since ten years. I've never heard of the name before Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He has never been nominated and been there in any shows that I've organised in nine years. I did not know him before the show.
Why did you call him in this event?
We have sent invites to almost four hundred actors, which included celebrities from television, Hindi film industry and OTT. It was a houseful show. We invited Shehzada Dhami when he was doing the show back then. The invites went out way before the the actor was terminated.
Is it true that Rajan Shahi asked you to remove Shehzada Dhami from the event?
Rajan Shahi is a very big name. I don't think he would be affected by Shehzada Dhami being there in the show, among so many people present there.
Here's what happened. Only the awardees were appointed seats in the front row. It was seen that Shehzada was sitting in a three - seater sofa, alone. We only asked him to move behind so that Rajan Shahi and other seniors could have a seat. We never called him backstage, which is what he is claiming. There were a lot of people to attend to, and he wasn't that much of a concern, neither to us, nor to Rajan Shahi.
