MUMBAI : With Varun Dhawan, Banita Sandhu made her Hindi film debut in the 2018 movie October. She has captured the attention of the internet as Miss Malhotra in Netflix's Bridgerton Season 3. Her portrayal has generated a lot of curiosity online and sparked discussions among users.
After a 7 year hiatus, Banita is hopeful for uniting with her October co-star Varun Dhawan. She said, “Of course I would. I would absolutely love to, but he is booked and busy. So, he leaves his schedule some time, and then we can make it work.”
She further added, “My answer always used to be Irrfan Khan Khan cause I really think he is the greatest actor we have had in our industry. I think Irrfan Sir has such a special place in my heart.”
In October, directed by Shoojit Sircar, Banita Sandhu made her Bollywood debut alongside Varun Dhawan. After that, she starred in Vicky Kaushal's biographical film Sardar Uddham Singh, which told the story of a Punjabi freedom fighter. She later became well-known for her part in the music video for "With You" by AP Dhillon.
