MUMBAI: Shark Tank India is one of the most loved and watched reality shows on Television. Shark Tank India has consistently captivated audiences with its distinctive presentations, innovative company ideas, and insightful commentary from the Sharks. There has been a regrettable update, though. Sony Pictures Networks has reportedly received a legal notification from Fit and Flex, an FMCG company. Sony Pictures reportedly received a court order to take down the FMCG startup's social media accounts.
The startup claims that the suspension of their social media accounts was caused by Sony's actions. The letter claims that Culver Max Entertainment's operations were hampered by their breach of the conditions of their partnership with the fitness brand. Additionally, it alleges that Sony broke their end of the agreement and failed to carry out their contractual obligations.
As per reports, Pathik Patel stated, “Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, we have faced complete radio silence from Sony, augmenting our challenges and highlighting the lack of accountability.”
The company that sells organic and fresh-from-the-farm Darjeeling tea countrywide has already received a legal notification from the channel. Co-founder of Dorji Sparsh Agarwal disclosed on LinkedIn that the company has received a legal warning from Sony Pictures Networks India for using footage from their pitch in YouTube videos.
