MUMBAI: Another startling twist has been added to the case by newly discovered information from Renuka Swamy's murder case involving Sandalwood actor Darshan. It has come to light that while Swamy was being tortured by Darshan's supporters, Pavithra Gowda, the key culprit in the case and alleged partner of Darshan, was present at the scene.

The murder case of Renuka Swamy is becoming increasingly sensational by the day as new information comes to light, owing to the exceptional savagery of the crime committed against an A-list member of the entertainment industry.
Renuka Swamy was reportedly kidnapped by a group of men from his Chitradurga residence and taken to a shed in Bengaluru. According to an NDTV story, Pavithra Gowda, Darshan's purported partner, was at the scene while Swamy was being beaten with sticks and repeatedly shocked with electricity. Darshan and Pavithra Gowda are among the at least 17 persons who have been detained in connection with the investigation thus far.
According to a recent police-presented remand note to the court, Pavithra Gowda had beaten the victim with her slippers. Pavithra Gowda was also at the crime site, according to the remand notice. From the Kannada star's residence, police have also taken documents, clothes, slippers, and other items connected to her.
As per reports Pavithra was the one who instigated Darshan to punish Renuka for his lewd comments to her.
As per the autopsy reports, Renuka passed away becuase of "shock hemorrhage as a result of multiple blunt injuries."
Dhanraj, the ninth accused in the case and a member of Darshan's group, shocked Renuka Swamy with electric shocks. An 'Electric Shock Torch' was taken by the police from his residence.
