MUMBAI : At the box office, Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri's film Bad Newz is making headlines. The movie made about Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office in less than a week. Karan Aujla's song has been popular across the nation, while the Tauba Tauba song by Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri was released before the movie.
Deepika Padukone joined the Tauba Tauba bandwagon recently as well. The actress included several of selfies along with the music in her most recent self-care post. She wrote, “I just HAD to use this track because I love it and anyway it’s coming out of people’s ears no? (Woman shrugging and grinning face with sweat emojis).”
Backed by producers Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is a rom-com that features a fresh trio of talents – Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. The film’s offbeat storyline, where Dimri’s character finds out she’s expecting twins from two different fathers, portrayed by Kaushal and Virk, has intrigued audiences and sparked curiosity about the movie’s plot.
Vicky Kaushal has also been grabbing attention for his dance moves in the Tauba Tauba song. Besides this, his sizzling chemistry with Triptii in the intimate song Jaanam has also grabbed everyone’s attention. Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz also features Neha Dhupia.
In the meantime, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child together. This year in February, the couple made their pregnancy public. According to a report from yesterday, Deepika has no immediate plans to return to her work. The actress reportedly turned down The White Lotus' third season because she wants to be a "hands-on" mother. The actress reportedly has no plans to sign on to any new projects because she wants to dedicate her attention to her future parenthood.
“Deepika loves children. She bonds with them instinctively. You can be sure there will be no nannys or nanas to look after her child when it is born…I don’t think Deepika would ever let Ranveer share in parental chores. She will be a 100% hands-on mother,” a source cited by the popular news portal claimed.
