MUMBAI: Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande are not new to trolling. They have been the target of disparaging comments on the internet ever since they competed together in Bigg Boss 17. On July 31, a new video featuring the two of them outside the Laughter Chefs sets began making the rounds on Instagram. However, internet users are most offended by Jain's behaviour towards his wife.
Aly Goni can be heard advising the paparazzi in the video, "Pati ho toh aisa (a husband should be like this)," gesturing to Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain. Vicky is seen carrying Ankita's pallu as the duo makes their way towards the sets. Jain is continuously placing the pallu on one of Ankita's naked arms while the photographers snap away with their cameras. He states, "Biwi ko dhak ke rakhna padta hain (a wife needs to be covered up)."
Someone commented, "Clear Representation of A Man suppressing a woman." Another wrote, "Yaha Muslim girls ko cover kry to logo ko problem hy." A third mentioned sarcastically, "Ghar mein hi kaid karke rakho na." Someone even called Vicky a 'chauvinistic pig'."
