MUMBAI: Isha Malviya and Abhishek Kumar first crossed paths on the sets of the popular COLORS show Udaariyaan, where their on-screen chemistry soon blossomed into a real-life romance. Their relationship quickly became the talk of the town, and the duo dated for nearly one to two years before parting ways due to personal differences.
Their dynamic took centre stage once again during Bigg Boss Season 17, where audiences witnessed a complex mix of emotions unfold between the former lovers. Abhishek wore his heart on his sleeve, openly admitting that he hadn’t been able to move on from Isha and found it painful to see her with someone else. His raw vulnerability struck a chord with viewers across the country.
Meanwhile, Isha appeared composed and clear in her stance. She had moved on and made no secret of her newfound closeness with fellow contestant Samarth. She repeatedly clarified that her chapter with Abhishek was closed and that her emotions no longer lay in the past.

“I’m not the kind of person who easily doubts others. But with Abhishek, I never really felt the need to question him. We worked together, spent a lot of time around each other, lived nearby, and our daily lives—including our vlogs—were so public. After observing all of that, I realised I’d be foolish to think otherwise. He was always loyal to me, and deep down, I knew he belonged to me. That’s why I never doubted him.”
There’s no denying that Isha and Abhishek were once one of television’s most adored couples. While their story may not have had a fairy-tale ending, it clearly left a lasting impression on fans and on each other.
