MUMBAI: Reactions to Ranbir Kapoor's recent interview have been intriguing. While some criticize the actor's remarks, others applaud him for being sincere. This is without a doubt the longest and most open interview the Tamasha star has ever done. Ranbir spoke on a wide range of topics, including his late father Rishi Kapoor, his relationship with his family, wife Alia Bhatt, daughter Raha, and mental health.

Regarding his married life with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor was candid. The Barfi actor claimed that while filming their movie, Brahmastra, in 2018, they had met on a plane. Their destination was Tel Aviv. They met on the flight, and that was the day their romance started. According to Kapoor, they were single when they first started dating and moved in together.
The Yeh Jawaani Hai Jawaani actor talked candidly about his prior encounters with Alia Bhatt in the same interview. Ranbir Kapoor talked about how fortunate he feels to have married a buddy who is very close to him. He referred to Alia as his best friend and termed her a vibrant individual. Kapoor went on to say that Alia is eleven years younger than he is, and ironically, he met her when he was twenty and she was nine. The two collaborated on a picture session for the film Balika Vadhu, which Sanjay Leela Bhansali was hoping to direct. They had never met before.
Ranbir Kapoor went on to say that he realized Alia Bhatt was unique after meeting her for years. The Rockstar actor expressed his deep admiration for his wife for her roles as an actress, an artist, a person, a sister, and a daughter. He enjoys traveling on vacation with Bhatt and feels happy when he returns home to her. Alia is described by Ranbir as driven, ambitious, and an overachiever at work.
On the work front, Alia will soon be seen in Karan Johar’s Jigra while Ranbir will be seen in Ramayana.
