MUMBAI: It hasn't always been easy for Kusha Kapila throughout life. Kusha is a perfect example of a modern Indian woman who understands that the sky's the limit for her, having worked hard to establish herself as an influencer before moving into acting.

However, Kusha had to deal with a lot of trolling and tags that came with being a female ambitious. Though Kusha never shied away from highlighting the good things in life, she did discuss for the first time how her mother had to deal with a lot of criticism after deciding to divorce Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia.

Kusha recently discussed her life following her divorce from Zorwar in an interview with the well-known news portal. The actress talked about how, when things are hard for women, society treats them unfairly. Kusha added that, in her situation, her mother endured lots of difficulty.

She was the one who had to deal with all of the aunts and relatives in the park, as the actress had shut herself off to outside advice.

She says, “Unkinder to women, that society is anyway so I think that is something my mother had to go through. I completely shut myself to opinions or anything. I didn’t have the bandwidth for it. So I am sure my mother can speak very clearly about it."

Kusha stated that her mother has her own life, which was affected because of the actress' divorce. She had to go to the temple or park and face people's opinions, and sadly, it is how the world works in general. She stated that we might be progressing, but some things will remain the same.

She said, "She had to speak to relatives and society. She has her own life. Vo mandir jaati hai ya fir vo park jaati hai, toh unki vo apni social community hai jaha par I am sure she had to face opinions and that is how the world works pretty much. This is the reality, this is the truth of where we live in and the times we live in. As much progress is happening, and we hope for it to happen, some things pretty much remain the same."

Kusha disclosed earlier to the popular news portal that she was compelled into premature revealing the details of her split with Zorawar Ahluwalia. However, the influencer-turned-actress expressed her gratitude for having the freedom to announce the news how she saw fit. Kusha went on to say that she doesn't want anyone else to publicly disclose any personal information about her.

Kusha and Zorawar had been dating for four years before they got married in 2017. Together, the ex-couple would frequently create content. They never really flaunted their personal lives on social media, though. It's interesting to note that Zorwar and Kusha had connected at a wedding. At an open bar, he'd offered her a drink, but she'd brushed it off as silly.

Regarding her career, Kusha Kapila was most recently seen in the films Thank You for Coming and Ishq Vishk Rebound.
