MUMBAI : Colors’ show Suhaagan is produced by Rashmi Sharma under Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, it starred Garima Kishnani, Anshula Dhawan replaced by Sakshi Sharma and Raghav Thakur. The show took a leap and now, it stars Pragati Chourasiya, Dhwani Gori and Akshay Kharodia as the second generation leads.
Mehul Nisar is a well known actor in the entertainment industry and he has been part of many projects like Hip Hip Hurray, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2.
He is currently a part of Suhaagan.
The festival of Teej was just celebrated recently and all the television shows have been telecasting this festival with upbeat drama around it.
Mehul took to his social media handle recently to share a video of him making Ganesh idols using wet soil amid shooting for the Teej special episode of the show. While sharing the video, he captioned his post as: ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya..! Was blessed to make the Ganpati Bappa Idol on the sets of Suhagan Show. There was a TEEJ sequence where we had to make diyas from gili mitti. I also made Bappa ka idol..’ (sic.)

The show started with how in a village, sisters Bindiya and Payal reside with their harsh relatives. At an early age, Bindiya is burdened with housework and other tasks, but she attempts to face life's obstacles with a smile.
