MUMBAI: JD Majethia is an Indian actor, director and producer. He is well known for his work in Gujarati and Hindi plays, dramas, serials & film.
Having given successful shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, and Khichdi, he is a very successful showmaker.
On stage, he has been active in Gujarati theater for the last 20 years.
He formed a company Hats Off Productions.
He is usually associated with comic roles, he is also known to portray supporting characters to a certain extent.
Currently is the creater of the Sony Sab's most successful and popular show Pushpa Impossible.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the ace producer and asked him what he thinks about Rupali Ganguly's success and why he thinks shows like Sara Bhai vs Sara Bhai are not made.

Why does shows like Sara bhai Vs Sarabhai or Khichdi isn't been made these days?
The time has changed those were the days of weekly shows and now is the time of daily shows. Now the time is of more of non- fiction shows than comedy shows. It depends on the platform what kind of shows they would accept and the place should be there. In a couple of days you will know we had shot for web series tittled 'Happy Family' and it won the best comedy movie and there is more to come.
What did you have to say about actor of Baa Bahoo Aur Baby?
The actor's and the charater were big. The industry is like a freelancer place and at times there is work and sometimes there is no work. Some are waiting for the right scripts, some are spending some time with family and I wish they get the best roles. This industry is all about ups and downs.
What do you have to say about Rupali Ganguly's success?
I always knew she was a good actress but her talent wasnt captured that well. Her family is also into this bussiness and I am very happy for the success she has achieved.
