MUMBAI: Awara Paagal Deewana is one of the most iconic Hindi comedy movies that no Hindi audience can ever miss out on. The movie was released in June, 2002 and the Vikram Bhatt directorial starred Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Aftab Shivdasani, Johnny Lever and Suniel Shetty as male leads along with Amrita Arora, Preeti Jhangiani, Aarti Chhabria and Supriya Pilgaonkar as female leads. It also featured Om Puri and Rahul Dev who contributed to this amazing comedy action movie.

Niraj Bagh - So I was thinking about this, what if we put Babu Rao, Shyam and Raju in Awara Paagal Deewana? I mean, the characters suit for the story as in the second part they also try to get their hands on diamonds.
Gargi Utpal - It does fit and I can already see myself laughing on Suniel Shetty scenes with Amruta Arora where instead of chasing Suniel Shetty, Amrita Arora will try to run away from him as he won't stop with his 'Anuradha' claims.
Farhan Khan - To watch a rude and straightforward Babu Rao becoming FIL to Anmol, played by Aftab Shivdasani would be hilarious. Babu Rao would be so rebellious against his wife.
Yesha Sagar - Akshay Kumar's role as Raju would be apt for APD and while he cannot do action like Guru Gulab, it'll be interesting to see him win with his comedy.
