MUMBAI : Often within families, there is an unspoken scramble for the coveted throne of control over the household.
With one such family feud, Colors presents a family drama 'Suman Indori' where swabhimaan collides with abhimaan in an explosive showdown between a dabang devrani and a tez-tarrar jethani. It's a recipe for power play as these two feisty women clash in a battle of wits and one-upmanship.
Bringing the age-old conflict with a modern spin, the upcoming show captures an entertaining tug-of-war between Devika, the jethani and Suman, the devrani, reluctantly married to Teerth, the scion of a prominent family.
Starring Ashnoor Kaur as Suman, Zain Imam as Teerth and Anita Hassanandani as Devika, the show is produced by Pratik Sharma of Studio LSD.
In a recent press launch, the show’s director mentioned that Ashnoor categorically mentioned that she was not interested in doing a television show however, when Ashnoor was told that the show has his mother’s name attached to it, she agreed to be a part of the same saying that now there would be a higher responsibility to make the show a success.
