MUMBAI : Star Plus’s show Maati Se Bandhi Dor, stars Rutuja Bagwe and Ankit Gupta in lead roles. Rutuja Bagwe will be seen essaying the roles of Vaijanati (Vaiju) and Ankit Gupta to portray the character of Rannvijay in the show. Maati Se Bandhi Dor also delves into the complexities of relationships and the diversity of the local culture.

Jaya gets angry because Ranvijay is lost in his thoughts and refuses to talk with anyone. He wants to surprise her and make her happy.
When Ranvijay meets Jaya and announces that he is taking her on a honeymoon, Jaya gets extremely excited. She tells Vaiju about it, and after hearing it, Vaiju gets upset.
Ranvijay tells Jaya that he has a Collaboration and he has no choice but to take Vaiju along for the Trip as the Manager is Sick to which Jaya gets Hurt.
Vaiju is shocked when Ranvijay asks her to be remarried to someone better and demands that she walk out of the marriage with him, saying that it doesn't matter to them at all.
Though Vaiju is in love with Ranvijay and wants him in her life solely, she is heartbroken by his request. Ranvijay's words against her have caused her to refuse forgiveness.
