MUMBAI: The Signature, now streaming on ZEE5, showcases Anupam Kher in the role of Arvind, a character who embodies resilience and determination. The film delves into themes of personal growth and the impact of choices, highlighting how moments of decision can shape one’s life and relationships. In the film industry, ability to adapt and make quick decisions can be the difference between a good film and a great one.
Director Gajendra Ahire shared, “Even when I went to narrate the story of The Signature, the narration was half done, and in the middle of the narration, Anupam Kher made up his mind and said, ‘Yeh Film Mai Kar Raha Hu Ab Aage Sunao’ [I’m doing the film now; you can go ahead]. He was so quick with his decision.”
Further, Mahima Chaudhry echoing to the sentiment shared, “I did a film with Anupam Ji, The Hope, and a little sugar. The producers were American, but Tanuja Chandra was the director. The film was based on 9/11; it was a great film. I also did Om Jai Jagdish with him and then I did The Signature. He is the same person; the core of the person doesn’t change. He has got so much experience, and he has got speed. He has that quickness in making decisions and uplifting a person. He is very quick in adaptation; we say, ‘I’ll let you know tomorrow,’ but he will say, ‘Let’s do it now.’”
This swift decision-making not only highlights Kher's confidence and commitment but also sets a dynamic tone for the movie. The synergy between the cast and crew, underscores the film's potential to resonate with audiences, making The Signature a project to watch for in the audiences.
