MUMBAI : We recently saw Uorfi Javed in a show called Follow Kar Lo Yaar. Noted hair and makeup artist Florian Hurel appeared in one of the episodes.
Sharing his experience of working with the sensational Uorfi, Florian says, "I appeared in an episode where she referred to me as an editorial artist. The episode focused on creating different looks for her and exaggerating the styles, as the character was Uorfi. She is really nice; after the shoot, she came up to me and expressed her gratitude for working with her. We had a great day at work. Looking at her professional life, I must say she seems to be very hardworking. It must have taken a lot of patience and innovation to reach where she is now. I wish her all the best."
With almost two decades of experience in makeup and hairstyling, Florian has worked with artists on some of the most prestigious platforms, such as the Cannes Film Festival and prominent film awards in the country. He has also styled artists for major projects, including Priyanka Chopra in The Sky is Pink, Katrina Kaif in Zero, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Fanne Khan. Florian has styled accomplished Bollywood celebrities such as Kriti Sanon, Mira Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Yami Gautam for cover shoots of high-end fashion magazines like Vogue, Femina, Elle, and Grazia. That’s not all! He has also worked with Vaani Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday for print and video commercials. Adding another feather to his cap, Florian launched his own brand, Florian Hurel Hair Couture, in Mumbai. The brand recently completed its first year. He aims to help aspiring stylists make a name for themselves in the industry.
