It was previously shown that Savi and Rajat made the decision to wed in order to protect Sai from Aashika and provide her a better future.

The Thakkar family will be observed enjoying their first Karwa Chauth celebration because Savi is a Maharashtrian and observes this holiday. Savi intends to observe all the customs and fast during Rajat.

Savi will presumably be reflecting on her past, including the day she kept the fast for her dearly departed lover, Ishaan Sir.

While Savi is living in the past and reflecting on the incredible time she had with her previous husband, Ishaan Sir, Rajat will appear unconcerned about her.
