MUMBAI: Colors presents Durga, a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai. Starring Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, and produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show is set in Jodhpur, the story follows Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.
Pani Bai is reassured by Vikram that as long as Anurag's condition gets better, it doesn't matter who donated the blood. Durga, who is eager to see Anurag, bravely repels harassers while praying for his recovery in a temple. Vikram is told by the doctor that Anurag is stabilized but requires further observation. Durga quickly learns that saving Anurag was made possible by her blood donation, but when a nurse says her name, her identity is revealed. The whole family is taken aback by Durga's sudden appearance as she makes her way to Anurag's ward.
